VISION

This year Ava became the first black skier athlete to win a Rocky Mountain Freestyle Comp Series competition.  An honor she is very proud of, as it allows her to show other kids of color that skiing is for everyone.

Ava's goal is to do what no one else has ever done in Freestyle Moguls, and that's going to 3 Olympics and winning 3 Gold Medals. Her passion for life and outgoing personality is reflected in the happy faces on her knee patches. An entrepreneur in the making, Ava sells her "happy knees"-inspired gear online and is in the process of starting a Podcast on Success and Happiness, future guests include Hannah Kearny and Liz Lemley.

Ava is also an avid soccer player, playing goalie and striker.  She loves fishing in the summer and playing with her dog Hank, a gray pit bull.
