Evelyn Harris is a senior this year at Summit High School. She is a Team Summit F19 skier and has had a successful season. She began the year with a victory at the Steamboat singles mogul competition. Next up was US Selections with her best finish being 6th place in duals. Then, went to the Deer Valley Nor-Am where she finished 16th in singles and 15th in duals.

She returned for the remainder of the winter with the Rocky Mountain Freestyle competitions, resulting with a 1st place and a 2nd place for the Telluride singles competition, along with a 2nd place finish at the Divisional Champs. She recently achieved the 5th position for Women at the Junior National Champs at the UOP in Utah. She had qualified into the round of 16 for duals before the event was canceled due to high winds causing unsafe conditions.

Evelyn concluded her winter season with a 12th place finish in the Women's Dual Competition at US National Championships at Deer Valley.

Evelyn has committed to attend the University of Utah where she plans to study kinesiology and continue her skiing career at the same time.

COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT - Help out with Team Summit events and help out younger athletes as a “coach in training” for summer camps and giving them advice all season long

GREATEST ACCOMPLISHMENT - My greatest accomplishment would have to be either my top 10 finish at US Selections or my 5th place at Juniors. US Selections stands out to me because I had a very rough start to the event, falling in qualifications on day 1, so it was a big deal for me to come back stronger on day 2 and break into the top 10 at only my 2nd Selections. I was also very proud of my performances and Junior Nationals this year because of my consistency throughout qualifications, finals, and duals as that was something I have been working on over the last few years.

TOP ACCOMPLISHMENTS - 3 top ten finishes in junior national events (8th singles 2020, 5th singles 2021, 6th duals 2021), 4 podiums (including 2 wins) in 2021 RMF events, 8th overall at US Selections
